Snacks
We will offer coffee, tea, water, and light snacks (fruit, pastries) in the morning; no full meals will be provided, however.

Parking
There is limited free parking in the lot connected to Window on the Bay Park. Arrive early to park there. Additional parking is available along Del Monte Ave, on Camino El Estero, and in the Fisherman’s Wharf parking lot (about ¼ mile past Window on the Bay Park).

Attire
Monterey Bay weather can be unpredictable. The day often starts off damp and chilly and then will turn warm in the afternoon. We suggest dressing in layers.

Length
The total length of the walk is approximately 3 miles.

Trail Condition
The walk begins at Window on the Bay Park and follows the Monterey Bay Coast Bike Trail slightly past the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The trail is paved, although there are a few streets to cross and there may be some gravelly portions on the trail. Bikes, strollers, roller blades, and scooters are allowed.

Event End Time
The Coastal Trail Walk is generally over by 12.45pm.

Pets
Leashed pets are welcomed and encouraged!

Weather
The walk will continue rain or shine.
